Wonderful dining experience for a special occasion. Visited Cafe No 4 last night to celebrate a special birthday and the perfect meal topped my day. Absolute perfection from start to finish - rye and raisin bread with Welsh salted butter; confit of duck for starter; belly pork for main; and buttermilk/vanilla pannacotta for dessert. Presentation was superb and food was absolutely delicious. Clean plates said it all. Staff were very friendly and we weren't rushed - the time literally flew. Can't wait for another special occasion to make a return visit. 5 Stars.

Wish it was open more often. We went to the cafe at No4 on Thursday evening, and to say I was shocked is an understatement. A 3 course fine dining experience of this quality is normally double the price we paid. There wasn't a morsel left on any of the plates and my taste buds learned a few new dances. Even the fussiest eater in the party was satisfied. Just wish I could go back there more often. 5 Stars.

Take a tip make the trip. Went here last night as a party of four. The food was outstanding, all dishes are seasoned by the chef and as a result you can actually taste every ingredient described on the menu. I choose confit of duck starter, sea bass as a mains, ice cream sphere with hot salted caramel sauce poured over at the table all absolutely delicious. Take your own wine, really pleasant staff, many will be put off by the £30 a head charge BUT what would you pay for 3 delicious courses at a standard chain restaurant BOOK HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. 5 Stars
