Metric was one of the Global coffee roasters we worked with for our July 2023 edition. They sent us a lot of delicious coffees to choose from for our box with plenty of extra bags from each producer. You can now pick up some of these lovely coffees roasted in Chicago.
This one a bright and crisp natural processed Pink Bourbon from Colombian producer Gabriel Castaño Buendia whose huge extended family are all coffee producers in the Huila region. Gabriel is widely known as the godfather of the Pink Bourbon, having pioneered this unique varietal early on and shared his knowledge and kit with other budding producers to help them get started.
This coffee has notes of lime and cherry soda.
