Metric was one of the Global coffee roasters we worked with for our July 2023 edition. They sent us a lot of delicious coffees to choose from for our box with plenty of extra bags from each producer. You can now pick up some of these lovely coffees roasted in Chicago.
This coffee hails from Colombian producer Nelson Chavez who is an exclusive producer for Metric. Metric buys his entire crop every year, allowing him to work on quality and giving him and his family peace of mind. His farm, La Esperanza is located in the Andes Mountains of Yacunaquer. This coffee is a delicious washed Caturra variety.
Expect notes of dried strawberry, demerara, and lemon lime.
